ST. CROIX - Pro Graphite Fly Rod
ST. CROIX 908 Pro Graphite 9' 8 weight.
We have used the St Croix Pro 908 for 2 seasons now. We have had good success with them, no premature breakage or wear. They are affordable for the average angler, modestly priced at $140 to $160.00 price range.
The Pro series fly rods feel and act like a much higher quality rod. When I was first given one to try I thought that it wouldn't last one day of fly - fishing for Chum Salmon. Well! I was wrong, we have just completed our second season using them and they have withstood the battles of 100's of 10 to 25 lb Chum and a few 40 lb Harrison river Chinook.
We like them so much we now use them as our guide rods for salmon fly-fishing.
