BERKLEY - Canadian Specialist CSS Series Rod

CSS 902m medium spinning line wt 10-25 lure wt 3/8.

This rod is much the same as the CST Series but the CSS series is in a spin cast configuration.
We have used this 9 ft spin cast rod with a (Shimano TX series spinning reel) for bottom bouncing for Sockeye and Chinook on the Fraser for 2 seasons. We have been using 20 lb fireline mainline and 15 lb ANDE Mono as leader. We have landed hundreds of Sockeye to 10 lbs and many Chinook over 20 lbs with no premature wear or breakage.

This rod is affordable for the average angler and should withstand the normal abuse so often seen by us west coast anglers. This rod is priced much the same as the CST series $ 100.00 to $120.00 price range.
