September through until late November is primetime for trophy sturgeon fishing.
Sturgeon fishing in Vancouver British Columbia offers anglers a world class experience. The Fraser River Sturgeon fishery has one of the largest population of Sturgeon in the world today. We fish for Fraser River Sturgeon in Vancouver, British Columbia year round and is one of our most consistent fisheries, seldom do we not catch fish. There are two times of year when Sturgeon fishing in British Columbia reaches it's best, spring brings our annual migration of the Eulichans (small bait fish) to the Fraser river to spawn. Food in winter is scarce so when the Eulichans arrive the Sturgeon are eager to feed, it's not uncommon to hook 15 to 20 fish in a 6 hour trip.
The second peak period is in the Fall when the largest salmon migrations occur. This is without a doubt some of the best fishing you will experience anywhere in North America. Peak fishing in the Fall is between mid September to late November. This is also when some of the best salmon fishing occurs, we often fish both salmon and sturgeon on the same day.

Sturgeon are known for Tail walking leaps and can quickly spool 200yds of line, an average fish of 4 to 6 feet will test the skill and strength of any angler. During peak periods is when our average size will increase though you can catch 8 to 10 footers anytime of year. Fraser Valley Sturgeon Fishing
The Fraser Valley offers excellent sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River between Langley and Agassiz. We depart daily from Mission, Harrison Bay, Harrison Hot Springs and Chilliwack. We fish the Fraser River 12 months of the year for sturgeon. We provide all fishing tackle, rods, reels, waders, rain pants, fully insured, covered and heated Jet Boats.

Fraser Canyon Sturgeon Fishing incl. trip to Hells Gate
The Fraser Canyon offers a unique fishing opportunity that few anglers get to experience. Only the most experienced of anglers and Jet Boat pilots venture into the canyons of the Fraser River. We offer daily trips departing from Hope, British Columbia. Hope is located at the entrance to the Fraser Canyon, approximately 90 minutes from Vancouver.

STS Guiding is now offering a new service exclusive to STS. We are the first and only guide service on the Fraser to offer larger groups the opportunity to fish together in our 28 ft twin engine jet boat and save money at the same time. This boat is great for coporate groups, birthday parties, stags or just getting out with your group of friends.
Rates for all guided trips w/ our 28ft Twin Engine Jet Boat
Although our 28ft twin engine boat is primarily used for larger groups with more than 5 anglers, anyone can request this boat. The daily rate is slightly higher than our regular rates. Many of our corporate groups prefer the extra room and our first class equipment.

5 people or more - $200 per person
Fraser Canyon Fishing - Hope to Hells Gate
includes:
8 to 10 hours on the water departing from Hope.

New E-licensing system to take effect on April 1, 2009
Effective April 1, 2009 the new E-licensing system is to take effect. You will now be able to purchase your fishing licenses on-line.
You can purchase your fishing license on-line at http://www.fishing.gov.bc.ca/index.html you can drop into your local tackle store and purchase an E-License from them or you can have us pre-purchase your fishing license on-line for you under the new E-License system.
Option 1 - Go to http://www.fishing.gov.bc.ca/index.html to purchase your E-License, remember if you are planning on salmon fishing and want to retain salmon, you must also purchase a salmon stamp, if you are sturgeon fishing you will also need to purchase a sturgeon license. Option 2 - Prior to your guided fishing trip, drop by any licensed vendor and pickup your fishing license, tags and sturgeon license as required. If you are not sure which licenses you will need, please contact our office at 604-671-3474
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations must be received 30 days prior to your fishing trip in order to receive a full deposit refund. If cancellations occur 15 - 30 days prior to your fishing trip, we will issue a credit valid for the 2011/12 season. If cancellations occur within 15 days of your fishing trip, there will be NO REFUND. Final payment isdue 7 days prior to trip date.
No Show Policy - Each guided trip is issued at start time. Fishing guides will wait for a reasonable amount of time (1 to 2 hours) for groups to show for their guided trip. When a group does not show for their guided trip, full payment is due, no refunds or credit is issued.
